What should church be?
Should it be a place of sanctuary... a safe harbor from the storms, worries and ups and downs of life? Should church be a place where you'll find forgiveness, love and mutual respect?
Shouldn't it also be a place where you can know that people will not be surprised at your sins, nor will judge you in them, but they will always invite you to share in the wisdom and love of God, the knowledge of forgiveness of sins, and the saving grace of God in Jesus Christ our Lord?
How important it is to know that you are a part of a larger group of people that are struggling, just as you do, to get through this life and yet are there to help one another through it all.
With the Lord's help, this is the type of church that we at Escalon First Baptist Church strive to be. Take your time as you walk through our website. You will see that we have lots of fun together and we encourage one another in our daily walk with the Lord.

In the name of King Ahasuerus it was written, and sealed with the king's signet ring.
